Everlasting Tribute sites come in several varieties. Your provider can explain the details. The quantity and types of personal information that may be included varies with the program selected.

Memorials can take on any appearance you design; start with one of our many templates and then adapt it to suit the personality of the subject. You'll have full control over layout, color, font..., but you don't need any special technical skills to make a professional looking memorial.

Each memorial is initially created by your funeral home or other provider. You will provide the necessary information, and a technician will include it in the site. You will choose from several designs, and you can change the design later.

• use of our document manager tool with which you can create stories about the subject in a news magazine format
• option to include and/or develop slideshow(s) and video(s) in our expanded tribute service

Your Everlasting Tribute is built within a sophisticated data management system that handles all the necessary layout, graphical and navigational issues associated with creating and maintaining a web site. So you can do it yourself or let our designers build your tribute.

IMPLEMENTATION

Your tribute is initialized by your provider. It is on line and available to accept guest registrations immediately. As soon as you assemble and deliver your pictures and text to your provider, our designer will build the rest of the site with your content. Your text will be presented in a collection of stories. Your pictures will be organized into a photo gallery. Your designer will work with you to make the site reflect the honoree's personality and accomplishments.

MAINTENANCE

After creation you can take over management of the site (by yourself or with a web-savvy friend) or let us maintain it for you at competitive rates. After one year the site will be converted to a static format and will remain available into the future. Should you choose to keep it interactive, just inform us before the archive date, and we'll explain your options.

Everlasting Tributes are produced in cooperation with selected funeral homes, newspapers and web designers.

1. ask your funeral director, newspaper or web designer if the company is a participating Everlasting Tribute provider*
2. order the tribute from your provider
3. your provider will create the tribute, usually the same day, and a welcome page and guest registry will be on line for your use immediately
4. you will deliver text and graphics to your provider for use in the tribute as soon as convenient; these materials will be expressed to a professional editor, who will add primary content (we prefer that copies be delivered instead of original materials); it is important that you deliver the source materials promptly
5. if your tribute is part of a funeral home package, your provider will include the web address of the tribute in regular notices to newspapers, organizations, etc.

Terms summary: the number of items to be included in the tribute varies with the package selected; normal turnaround time is a few days; thereafter you can assume responsibility for adding content and reviewing responses; your tribute will remain interactive (editable) for one year and will be available on line perpetually. Because funeral directors are simultaneously managing other services you need when someone passes away, their expenses are low, and your tribute may be inexpensive or bundled into a service package.
